Great Weather, 5 Leaves Open, Inflorescences Fully Exposed - Approximately 2 Weeks Behind 2010

70F today, began pulling doubles, thinning buds in the vine heads, and suckering.  At least half the shoots were at or above the 1st wire by end-of-day.  If we have a few decent days, we could be tucking shoots and or clipping the 1st wire next week.

Late; But Strong, Uniform Start

Budbreak 2011 - May 1

Large buds have been waiting to break for some time.  Based on the current forecast, we should have a quick and uniform budbreak over the next few days.  If the mid-seventies that are forecasted the following week hold, we might even catch up a bit.
